The collection of The National Maritime Museum is one of the largest and most notable maritime collections in the world with approximately 400,000 objects, including paintings, models of ships, navigation instruments, and maps of the world. Republic at Sea
Displaying over fifty masterpieces from the museum’s collection, Republic at Sea tells the remarkable story of the Netherlands as a maritime nation in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The National Maritime Museum follows the Dutch guidelines from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the protocol from the Museumvereniging and 'Veilig Samen Uit'. Note! As from 30 September 2020 facemasks are mandatory.
