Students and researchers working on publications are welcome to request access to collection items.
Please note: between June 18th and August 13th it is not possible to plan a research appointment in the depot because of the summer break.
This includes all objects from our collections, including the library items from before 1850. To process your request we need the item's inventory number. You can find this number on the website Maritiem Digitaal.

We will need at least six working days to process your request. Appointments are usually planned per half day on Tuesdays. If your preferred date is not available, we will propose an alternative. We will send you an email confirmation of your appointment. The museum reserves the right to deny a request, for instance because the item concerned is too fragile. We will contact you if this is the case.
