"one of the most beautiful venues in Amsterdam"

The National Maritime Museum is one of Amsterdam's most beautiful locations to organize an event. This historic place offers many possibilities: arriving by boat, a reception in the rooms and a dinner party at the Open Square under the famous and spectacular glass ceiling with all its beautiful lighting. Success guaranteed! The preparations and the event went very well. Claire, Jacobine and Rianne, huge compliments for your team !! You were all so super helpful, relaxed and acted appropriately. Very professional, I really enjoyed to work with you! All cooperating suppliers felt the same and that created a fantastic atmosphere in front of and behind the scenes. The customer is also very satisfied and they enjoyed the evening immensely! Chapeau! I can only hope for more collaborations.

celebration of 125 years of the Royal Netherlands Navy Reserve

Where can this milestone be better celebrated than at such a wonderful location as the National Maritime Museum in the heart of the homeland, our capital Amsterdam? The 125-year KMR working group, consisting of six reservists from the various ranks and positions of the Royal Navy, left no doubt about this. The nearby Marine Etablissement Amsterdam was called in for the official part of the day, after which the festivities would continue in The National Maritime Museum.

On the unique sun-drenched Saturday, February 16, 2019, past and present merged into a genuine maritime setting. This was not only the contribution of the museum and the partygoers dressed in flawlessly uniform, but also the merit of the "Equipage de Delft" association, which gave this holiday a special cachet in maritime clothing from the 17th and 18th centuries. Both outside, at the replica of the VOC ship "Amsterdam", and inside in the various showrooms of this museum, guests mingled relaxed among the civilian audience.

A private reception in the atmospheric Van Heemskerck and De Ruyter rooms, started with a drink and continued under the smooth guidance of the musical sounds of the Popcombo of the Trompetterkorps der Marechaussee where everyone could catch up with each other extensively, made this unforgettable day complete.

The whole evening was absolutely fantastic & was making all of our customers very happy being there! From the beginning until the very end, everybody of the staff was always very friendly, well prepared, convenient while handling everything. The food was very delicious, the timing as well perfect. The guides were amicable & flexible – as our boats had some difficulties to arrive! Laura was taking care of everything in a very convenient & professional way – so again please a huge thanks to her as she is responsible that my bosses & all customers were very much enjoying this dinner event! In case we come back to Amsterdam, I would for sure get back to you & check if we could again work together!

Blackboard Awards Dinner

Het Scheepvaartmuseum exceeded all expectations – again! Having held a small private tour and dinner for 30 people back in the summer of 2015, we again chose this wonderful venue for an international awards dinner in January 2016.

The entire event went smoothly from our first discussions, through building the concept, to delivery on the night (and of course, several changes and alterations along the way!). I cannot find the right words to express how pleased my client and I were with the whole process.

If you're looking for a professional, friendly, 'wow-factor' venue, you couldn't choose better than Het Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam. I WILL be back with future clients (January 20, 2016). Carole Lindop - CRL Event Management

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) The Netherlands

CLIA Nederland, Marlies Grent: "Our promotional industry group for Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Nederland, came in contact with The National Maritime Museum through Amsterdam Cruiseport, industry partner of CLIA Nederland.

The museum turned out to be the perfect location to host the press conference for presenting the annual numbers of the cruise industry as well as network dining location. The cooperation was not only a successful match but also organisational well executed. We look back on a fantastic partnership and will for use the museum as a prime location again. Thank you all!"
