Especially for the Amsterdam Light Festival, The National Maritime Museum organizes an evening opening on climate change. Immerse yourself in the artwork on our façade with an Artist Talk & lecture, visit the exhibition Fight for the Ice and Rising Water with a story in the room and enjoy a dinner in the museum restaurant!

The National Maritime Museum and Amsterdam Light Festival are organizing an evening opening on climate change on Tuesday December 10. The program consists of an Artist Talk & Lecture with moderator Andrea van der Pol and a visit to the exhibitions Scramble for the Arctic & Rising Tide by photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen with a story at the exhibition by a museum guide. You can also dine at the museum restaurant. Especially for this evening, chef Ralph Dahlhaus has created a 2-course dinner with local products. The program components can be ordered and visited separately. 

Tickets for dinner and the Artist Talk & Lecture can be purchased until December 9, 12:00 PM. Tickets for the visit to the Scramble for Arctic and Rising Tide exhibitions are then still available and available at the door.

Program

18:00 - 19:30 o'clock 2-course dinner with local ingredients, can be combined with artist-talk / lecture.
19:30 - 21:00 o'clock 2-course dinner with local ingredients, can be combined with visit tot he exhibitions and a story by a guide.
19:00 - 22:00 o'clock Opening of the exhibitions Scramble for the Arctic, Rising Tide and the educational room, story by a guide.
19:00 - 20:30 o'clock Artist Talk and Lecture 'Activism or the new status quo? Artists about the climate crisis'.
22:00 o'clock End of evening opening.
